Work one-on-one with clients to create well-written resumes
Provide job readiness education to boost knowledge and skills before entering the workforce
Provide job retention support like clothing items, bus passes, and gas cards needed to maintain employment
Career exploration assistance

Up-to-date job leads for all education levels, experience, and backgrounds
Employer Spotlights monthly! Meet employers and learn about their organization and their open positions- often with prescreening, interviews, or employment offers same day
Quarterly job fairs featuring multiple employers
Teach interview skills that help boost confidence and alleviate stress around job interviews
Job Readiness
UMOM’s Job Readiness program is a two-part seminar held in the Workforce Development building. Learn skills that are foundational to a smooth transition back to work and help maintain employment.
Regularly scheduled for Monday & Tuesdays (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.)
Must complete part 1 (Mondays) before attending part 2 (Tuesday)
Be sure to register with your Case Manager or Workforce Specialist in advance to secure your spot
