At UMOM Family Shelter, every family is paired with a dedicated Case Manager—a compassionate, consistent partner who will walk alongside you as you work toward long-term stability, housing, and healing.

Your case plan is personalized to reflect your strengths, honor your family’s needs, and support your individual goals. We understand that each journey is unique, and your roadmap will be thoughtfully designed with you—not for you.

Your Case Manager will help you navigate a wide range of supportive services both on campus and in the community—whether that’s applying for employment, locating affordable housing, securing childcare, or breaking through barriers along the way. You are not alone in this process.

Weekly collaboration meetings with your Case Manager are an opportunity to reflect, regroup, and celebrate each step forward. These conversations are designed to build momentum and keep you moving toward your goals—ensuring that your transition from shelter to stability is supported every step of the way.

UMOM’s Workforce Development team assist clients with meeting their employment goals by conducting regular job training and job placement activities geared toward gaining and retaining employment. This includes mock interviews, resume writing assistance, job searches, job placements, and educational workshops.

Laundry rooms are located throughout campus. Please notify the front desk of any maintenance needs or other issues in laundry rooms.

UMOM offers an on-site Boys & Girls Club for kids 5-18. See your case manager to learn more about enrollment.

UMOM offers healthcare in the clinic in the lobby of UMOM New Day Centers (across the street).

Care is provided by one of two partner organizations:

Circle the City - serves adults of all ages.

Services include: primary care, preventative care, behavioral health, substance use services, and health navigation assistance.
